There is a new divorce and separation adjustment group just starting up in the Plainpalais area of Geneva. The group will be for men and women of all ages, nationalities and gender orientations and will be conducted in English.

The group will discuss concerns identified by its members including challenges caused by life changes due to divorce and separation and may include issues such as:

  • Adjusting to the single role
  • Coping with loneliness
  • Exploring feelings surrounding divorce
  • Dealing with the divorce’s effect on children
  • Learning to live independently
  • Reviewing personal values
  • Regaining self-confidence
  • Rebuilding social relationships

The group will be a safe environment where individuals can experience support and friendship, speak confidentially about personal, professional and family issues and share experiences and feelings with one another.

The group will meet once a week for 90 minutes for seven consecutive weeks and will have a maximum of seven participants. The start date will be determined when the participants have been identified. The fee will be CHF 50 per person per session.

The meeting space will be at Cabinet Henri-Dunant 3 in the Plainpalais neighborhood, just next to the Rond Point.
